"I had the privilege of hearing Paul Sterling speak about Conflict Resolution and Communication to West High School students. Though there was limited time, students were given skills to help them see and ask for the feelings and needs behind conflict. Paul was great at taking real scenarios that applied to these high school students and showing them how communic at ing through his techniques would lead to more effective results.

In addition, the teachers and adults in the classroom were enthralled with the material. I thought about how valuable Paul's communication techniques would be in marriage and among families, where conflict tends to be the most severe. I appreciate Paul's "Language of Peace" because it demonstrates how to value other people in the midst of arguments. It teaches you how to ask questions to get at the real meaning and feeling behind emotions and words.
